Central Oregon
Central Oregon is smack dab in the middle of the state. This high-desert area has a unique landscape. Just like in old Western cowboy movies you can see tons of sagebrush and ponderosa pine trees. Also, there are plenty of lakes, rivers, lava rocks, snowy mountains and cattle ranches.
In the winter and spring, families love to ski and snowboard at Mt. Bachelor and Hoodoo ski areas. In the summer and fall, they camp, hike, river-raft, swim and ride bikes together. And you and your parents will love shopping, eating and walking around in the towns of Bend, Sisters, Redmond and others.
